Brunch is basically a food meal consumed after breakfast and before lunch. The name is derived in a way that ‘Br’ is taken from breakfast and ‘unch’ is taken from lunch. This is quite popular on the East coast wherein there are restaurants who specifically serve Brunch menu. Countries all around the world have specific brunch menus that are consumed by locals. We too have come up with some quick and easy to prepare sweet dishes for your brunch menu. Have a look at them:

  1. Pancake recipe:

A very delicious recipe to consume in brunch hours, pancakes can be prepared quickly and with ease. Loved and enjoyed by both kids and adults, pancakes are prepared with different fusions and twists too. So we hereby present our version of pancake recipe which can be prepared very easily.

 

Topping:

Ingredients:

1 cup of Cream

2 cups of Seasonal fruits (chopped)

100 grams or ¼ cup of Nestlé MILKMAID

 

Recipe for topping:

  1. Take a bowl and put cream and Nestlé MILKMAID in it. Also add some fresh seasonal fruits. Beat it well. The topping is ready.

 

Pancake

Ingredients:

Salt to taste

2 tsp of baking powder

1 tsp of vanilla essence

150 grams or 1 ½ cups of Maida (all purpose flour)

2 tbsp of melted butter

1 Egg

200 grams or ½ tin of Nestlé MILKMAID

½ cup water

1 cup of Nestlé a+ Nourish milk

 

Recipe:

  1. Take a bowl and add Nestlé MILKMAID, vanilla essence, butter, water, egg and Nestlé a+ Nourish milk. Beat the entire mixture properly.
  2. Take a bowl and sieve salt, baking powder and maida in it. Put this in Nestlé MILKMAID mixture and fold it properly. Mix and blend it in a way that it does not form lumps. Keep it aside for 10 to 15 minutes
  3. Take a pan with a thick heavy bottom. Heat it. Put a dash of butter and pour a ladle of the prepared mixture. Spread it well. Flip it once bubbles start coming. Cook it on the other side too.
  4. Serve it with the topping prepared.
  5. Enjoy them hot.

 

  1. Red Velvet cupcakes:

The name red velvet cupcakes in itself brings water in the mouth. This is one such sweet dish which can be consumed anytime after meals. Let us check red velvet cupcakes recipe given below:

 

Topping:

Ingredient:

400 grams of Nestlé a+ Nourish dahi

100 grams of Nestlé MILKMAID

1 tbsp of butter

 

Recipe:

  1. Take a muslin cloth and strain Nestlé a+ Nourish dahi from it. Then hang it for 20 minutes to get Hung curd. Take a bowl and add Nestlé MILKMAID, hung curd and butter. Beat it well to get the topping. This will be later used for topping.

 

Cupcake

Ingredient:

1 tbsp of cocoa powder

150 grams of maida

3 Eggs

1 ½ tsp of baking powder

150 grams of butter

¼ cup of Nestlé a+ Nourish milk

1 tsp of vanilla essence

2 tbsp of red colour

¼ cup of Nestlé MILKMAID

150 grams of powdered sugar

 

Recipe:

  1. Preheat the oven for 180⁰ C.
  2. Place the cup cake tray or muffin tray with paper cups in it.
  3. Take a bowl and sieve baking powder, cocoa powder and maida in it. Keep it aside. Take a bowl and melt butter. Put in some powdered sugar and beat it. This will give a creamy texture. Take eggs one by one and beat in this mixture. The add Nestlé a+ Nourish milk as well as red colour. Blend this mixture properly.
  4. Take the paper cups and pour this batter in it.
  5. Bake them for 20 minutes approx. Check it by inserting a toothpick. Check if it comes clean then the cupcakes are prepared.
  6. Take them out of oven and let them cool. Decorate them with the topping. Enjoy them warm.
