There were a lot of good films in 2018. Maze runners: The Death Cure, Venom, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Final, Second Act, A Star Born, Aquaman, Fantastic Beasts: The crimes of Grindelworld(as I am a fan of Harry Potter), Searching and more. … but I think that was really cool ‘A Quiet Place.’ The storyline of the film is also amazing. It is a very curious developing movie.

Comedy: Game Night– The film was entertaining all the way. It didn’t go for some cheap laughs, it won all the jokes, and it was right for the characters. On top of that, over-the-top narrative and great performances by Jason Bateman, Rachel McAdams, and Billy Magnussen really carry the entire film.
Horror: A Quiet Place- No other film gave me the experience of a riveting theater that year, as A Quiet Place. It is truly a technological achievement of sound design (or lack thereof) and world-class building. You are sucked into because of the characters from the minute you fell into this world under attack.
Thriller: Searching- Searching was a truly unique film. This is a film that has a straightforward plot of a missing daughter but is told through the screen in a way that really keeps you captivated. It serves as a commentary on the digital world we are leaving and, at the same time, through its distinct style, tells an entirely different story if you look at its unique aesthetic.
Musicals: A Star is Born- The film looks fantastic and sounds fantastic. ‘A Star Is Born’ is a tear-filled and rewarding tribute to take out your heart with full intimacy and emotion.

Hollywood–Avengers Infinity war -I was basically shocked after the film was over. After the end credits for about 15–20 minutes sitting in the theater, wondering what had just happened.
